We will continue to add new photos as time goes by.
Meet the herd-
Yaba Daba
Meet Yaba Daba- she is a registered Nigerian dwarf who is polled. Polled means she naturally has no horns. Never did, never will. I like that trait since it means I dont have to have as many kids disbudded.
We recently had Yaba bred for spring kids- we hope she gives us lots of beautiful kids. Her last freshening, she gave us QUADS!! 2 bucklings, 2 doelings, one of each sex was polled as well. We hope to milk her once a day as she raises her kids. She is an excellent milk producer!

Betty Lou
Here we have Betty Lou. She is a registered Nigerian Dwarf. She is a bit of a big girl, as herd queen, she makes certain she gets the most of pretty much anything edible!
She has been bred for April kids. This will be our first time experiencing Betty kidding, although she has had babies before.
We also hope to milk her once a day while she raises her kids.

Maggie May
From our home page, here is Maggie May. She is a wonderful little doe, friendly as all get out. She was bottle raised by us. She was even kept in the house in a play pen so we could do some serious socialization with her.
Keeping our goats very human friendly is very important to us- we strive for goats that are sweet and friendly, but we dont bottle raise *just* to get them that way. We only bottle raise by request for someone who wants a bottle baby, or if a mother goat cannot feed her kid (as with Yaba when she had quads- we pulled 2 and bottle fed so everyone would get enough).
We have bred Maggie to have April kids with a beautiful blue eyed buck. With Maggie having a blue-eye gene (but not blue eyes herself), we really hope to get some gorgeous blue eyed kids!

Lady
This is Lady- not her registered name, just what we call her. She is very new to our herd, and we are just getting to know her. She is a sweet, calm girl, who loves cheerios and raisins and mandarin oranges. She has very pretty blue eyes and is registered.
She came to us possibly bred to a gorgeous tri-colored buck. We hope she is since she tends to give blue eyed kids, and even the occasional polled kid! She has nice coloring, and we were told she gives gorgeous moonspotted kids. Not sure on her due date, but we will keep you posted.

Too Short Gammit
Our first buck. We call him 'Too Short, Gammit'. He is such a nice color, has blue eyes and has a nice long body. I think he will add some wonderful genetics to our herd. He has provided his stud services to Betty Lou and Maggie May.
He also bred our one fainting doe (not pictured) Whimsy.
Just ignore the other goat bottoms- he likes to stay close to his ladies!!
